OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, one Tallie has completed forty (40) full revolutions around the Sun, surviving each with characteristic grace and an enviable collection of ski passes;

WHEREAS, said individual has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in skiing, photography, international travel, and general outdoor excellence far exceeding the capabilities of the average human;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned Tallie has been reliably documented as "the main character" in any room, mountain, or continent she enters;

WHEREAS, February 14th was previously squandered on a lesser, more commercially motivated holiday before Tallie rightfully claimed it;

WHEREAS, turning 40 is not "getting old" but rather entering what experts describe as "the final form" or "prestige mode";

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that this day shall henceforth be known as NATIONAL TALLIE DAY, and all citizens are encouraged to celebrate accordingly with enthusiasm, confetti, and at minimum one (1) dramatic toast.
